Membership

Advantages of a membership in BIMoS:

• Joining a network of highly recognized scientists [1] from all faculties of the TU Berlin who work in model and simulation based research and exchange problems and solutions.
• Meeting international scientists at BIMoS events.
• Exclusive access to presentation slides and recordings from the BIMoS Lectures (BIMoS Days [2] and BIMoS Distinguished Lecture [3]).
• Participating in the BIMoS PhD Seminar [4] to connect with PhD students from other disciplines.
• Free admission to selected conferences [5].
• Contributing to the content of BIMoS events
• support concerning requests about scholarships, travel costs and starting a start-up company.

PhD Students of BIMoS may also request a mentor from the BIMoS faculty, if their PhD Supervisor agrees in writing.

How to apply for a membership:

→ Only members of the TU Berlin can become a member of BIMoS.

→ All applications for membership will be reviewed by the Scientific Directors of BIMoS.

→ Criteria for selection are scientific excellence and innovative research that matches the BIMoS research focus.
